13. PROSPERITY

God delights in our prosperity! Infact the expression of His desire for our prosperity is made known to us in 3 John 2 when He said "Beloved I wish above ALL things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.Yet again we see in His word Psalm 35:27 where he said "Let the Lord be magnified, which has pleasure in the prosperity of His servants. 

Prosperity begins in the mind. Every activities that we see taking place in our society and in the lives of peple begin with the minds of people.  God has blessed every single one of his creation with the gift of the mind. It's important that we develop a very positive and godly mind.  Its important that we allow God's word to renew our minds.  Our lives draw from the well of the treasures of our mind which in turn determines our output in life. 

When your mind is stayed on God, he speaks to your mind. He gives you direction and shows you the way of YOUR prosperity.  He helps you to fulfill destiny from the elementaries of life till the fullness of maturity. He enables you to make the right choices.  From within your mind, you are able to make the right decisions when you give your mind to God. I have experienced agonies in my life, because I made decisions based on external pressures and I have equally experienced fulfillment and prosperity in my life based on godly decisions from within the mind. 

It is deeply contrasting to note that Many people have given their minds to so much negativity in themselves, in others and in the entire society in which they live, which have resulted in general poverty.  Their minds are filled with impossiblities  and they wonder why nothing is working out well for them. Whilst on the other hand some people's mind are filled with so much enthusiasm, energy, positivity, hope, optimism, they believe everything they come across in God's Word is also possible in their lives and these set of people, irrespective of their background, excel and prosper in life.  

There is so much to say, but let's begin to channel our minds in the right direction and all shall go well with us in Jesus name.  Above all, let's be prayerful. When we pray, we are most connected to the source of our true prosperity - The Living God!
