WILL GOD PUNISH THE SINNER?

God's Word states in Romans 6:23 "The wages of sin is death". (The final punishment for those who would refuse to repent of their sinful ways is eternal damnation). 

The good news is that:  God made a way of escape "The gift of Eternal Life can be received through Jesus Christ our Lord". The blood of Jesus Christ is available to atone for our individual sins and to set us free from the wrath and judgement of God.

Hebrews 2:2 "For the message of God delivered through angels has always stood firm, and every violation of the law and every act of disobedience was punished.  So what makes us think we can escape if we ignore this great salvation that was first annouced by the Lord Jesus himself and then delivered to us by those who heard him speaki?
